One Pattern. All Modes.

The visual method to break out of the pentatonic box and master the entire fretboard.

If you’re stuck playing the same pentatonic licks in the same position, you already know the problem. You can hear there’s more to the fretboard — you just can’t see it yet.
The reason most modes feel abstract isn’t that they’re hard. It’s that we get taught seven separate shapes for what’s really one pattern.

One Pattern, All Modes

The Shift That Changes Everything

Here’s the move that finally cracks it open:

Instead of memorizing seven different mode shapes, look at where the pentatonic you already know sits inside each mode. The pentatonic is every mode minus two notes — the 4th and the 7th.

Add those two notes back in the right spots, and you’re already playing the mode. Same fingering territory. Just two color tones added.

That single shift turns “modes” from abstract theory into something you can actually use over a backing track. Keep your pentatonic shape. Add the 4 and 7. The mode appears.
